About me

As a very active kid I grew up around horses, learning how to fall, ride and take care of this precious creatures. Eventually I got to try out multiple individual and team sports from tennis, and soccer to BMX. From the age of twelve Ice hockey became my whole world for seven years getting the honor of representing the Czech Republic Women’s National Ice Hockey team in both National and World Championships.

As a professional athlete due to internal issues starting my battle with anorexia and depression, I eventually burned out, which set me up for the journey of self-discovery that directs my path until today.

Ido Portal method (2013-2021)

In 2012 I came across a video of Ido Portal. Since my first event in 2013 till 2021 I’ve been studying intensively via online and in person events broader perspective on movement mainly through his teachings. Thanks to Ido I’ve also connected with one of his close students in Czech Republic – Petr Růžička, who became a dear friend, guide, and mentor in the last 6 years as I’ve been a part of his teachers group Pohyb je život.

After a month of Intensive study with Ido and his team at the end of 2021, I realized an internal change of direction with profound gratitude for the knowledge and teachings that was passed on in the last eight years under his wings.

Physiotherapy (2019-2023)

In the summer of 2019, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and began the quest of connecting the dots within the fields of physiotherapy extracting tools from both manual therapy and general movement practice. Currently I continue my education and experience as a clinician under the wings of dear mentor Phd. Michal Rukavička as part of his team.

In my practice I’m certified practitioner of ART, DNS, IASTM, Visceral manipulation, Mobilization and manipulation techniques as well as Dry needling or Trigger point therapy. Currently I focus mainly on myofascial release followed by individualized rehabilitation programing – including wide tools from strength, mobility and self-release techniques to promote healing and to make sure we address the cause of the original problem.

Marcello Palozzo and Vienna Group

Since summer 2022 I’ve joined forces with dear teacher and friend Marcello Palozzo, feeling the pull towards environmental practice and studies of individuation through movement both as a practitioner and a teacher I’ve ended up moving to Vienna for 6 months to study in person joining Marcello’s group in Vienna.

Here we are

Currently I’m leading a Czech based movement community combining distant teaching and in-person gatherings according to my travels focusing mainly on general movement practice and its development.

I view life as a dynamic curve. Continuous change or some kind of uncharted territory, we were born into without instructions to follow. My practice became a tool to map this “territory” and orient myself in the world. Through practice and direct experience we have an opportunity to meet ourselves, thus having an opportunity to remember who we are. I believe that practice can be whatever the student wants it to be – a tool for body development, health improvement or a way of self-realization.

My role as a teacher is to support and facilitate such process meeting my students where they are and help to make their choices.
